Not to seem cheesy, but in January 2015 we quickly became a case of "love at first site". Our story is one that Katherine will be sure to tell at every Japanese steakhouse (you know, the steakhouses where they cook in front of you and eating dinner with strangers oftentimes feels like eating with family). As soon as someone asks "how did you meet?",. Katherine is quick to say, "I WAS HIS BOSS!" Yep, Katherine was Justin's boss..
Our goal is to catch candid moments of ALL details of your special day: the flowers, center-pieces, decorations, the family and friends, the groom's face when he first sees his bride, the intimacy, love, emotion, excitement and joy that would otherwise fleet in a moments time. Every bride and groom deserve to be able to experience and relive those moments for years to come and it is our true desire to deliver this to you!
We are Katherine & Justin, a husband and wife team. Each part of our process is intentionally selected for a reason that brings the heart behind your special day to life. In a world where nothing is perfect, we like to think the right equipment, the right editing tools, and the right touch can produce memories which you will hold onto for years to come. Weddings are full of love and excitement that happens only once in your lifetime (hopefully!) and is the BEST day of your life.
And in reality, SHE STILL IS (this was made very clear in Justin's vows!). Although it's a funny story to tell, for some reason Justin's face always turns red! But deep down, the story behind how our love began is what made us want to tell other's love stories. Because your love story is worth being told.. We want to learn who YOU are as a couple, how your love originated, whether it brings laughter or tears, let us tell your love story.
because there are few things we would rather do then cuddle on our couch and binge watch Netflix
don't judge, but we buy the cans by the 35 pack at Sam's Club. It's kind of an addiction.
Traveling is a huge part of our family, marriage and our sanity! One of our favorite places to visit is NYC, but we will NEVER stay to watch the ball drop again. Yep, we did that in 2016, and nope, we will never do it again. This photo is of one of the most amazing architectural churches in NYC from our 2018 trip which was our daughter's first (but not last!) visit!
what's better than a Sunday brunch shrimp and grits + Mimosa combo? Nope, no bloody mary's, not 'round here
We have two kiddos - Karlee and Hudson. One LAST kiddo on the way, his name is Preston. Acknowledge the caps - "LAST"! Three is plenty for us. They truly are our entire life and give us so much joy. And yep, we decided to feature this outstanding Santa because Christmas is our favorite time of year!
Katherine's all-time favorite drink is a margarita with extra salt. Who wants to meet up for some margaritasssss?!
