Before we dive into our favorite wedding venues, we first want to tell you about our wedding so you can learn what stressed us out the most, and how you can plan ahead and make decisions which will help you have the most enjoyable and memorable day of your lives!
We got married at Pretty Place Chapel and had our wedding reception at Artisan Traders in West Greenville. Pretty Place operates on an hourly schedule, so we got ready in separate locations, meaning there were 3 total locations we traveled to throughout the day. This was STRESSFUL! We aren’t saying to not choose Pretty Place, actually we have several weddings at Pretty Place this year, but our #1 suggestion when picking a venue is to consider how easy everything will be if you’re doing it all in one place. From getting ready to the ceremony, to the sparkler sendoff, if you can do everything in one place, we can promise that you, your family, and your guests, will be way less stressed! Honestly, our wedding was somewhat of a logistical nightmare! Save yourself the headache and choose a venue that accommodates you to do everything all in one place.

1. AVENUE
Avenue is one of our favorite wedding venues in Greenville, SC. Their rooftop views of downtown Greenville, SC are one of a kind, and absolutely perfect for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions. Avenue provides an unmatched level of elegance throughout the indoor-outdoor rooftop venue. It is “a space like nowhere else. For an event like no one else’s.” Avenue is also in partnership with Table 301, which we guarantee doesn’t disappoint when it comes to dinner time!
2. THE CLIFFS AT GLASSY CHAPEL
Want a ceremony location with panoramic views that will absolutely “WOW!” your guests? If so, glassy chapel is your place! The glass-enclosed chapel will provide your wedding guests with breathtaking, awe-inspiring views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
3. LARKINS
Larkins offers several different wedding venue locations ranging from the Larkin’s Sawmill right near downtown Greenville, SC. They offer several other venues including the Larkin’s Courtyard next to the Wyche Pavillion in the heart of Downtown Greenville, SC. Regardless which venue of Larkin’s you choose, there are tons of photo/video locations with great lighting in the heart of downtown Greenville, and with Larkin’s Catering & Events, you know you’ll receive more than just fine dining and a professional staff, but they can provide options that no other caterer can offer.
4. THE OLD CIGAR WAREHOUSE
One of the most iconic venues in Greenville, SC, The Old Cigar Warehouse is certainly one you’ll want to tour when searching for your perfect wedding venue. In the heart of downtown Greenville, and walking distance to Falls Park, this venue is the perfect venue for larger weddings. The Old Cigar Warehouse can host up to 500 people for a reception and has parking close by! They also have the perfect outdoor patio for cocktail hours!
5. BARN AT SITTON HILL FARM
The Barn at Sitton Hill is a gorgeous venue with a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Greenville, SC. This property has over 99 acres of land. The barn as been full This is the venue where Southern Charm meets Rustic Elegance. This venue is family owned and operated by Sitton herself! Not only are Sitton and her team are an absolute dream to work alongside, but the venue is built for a STRESS FREE wedding day. You may have read this before, but we highly encourage our couples to only have one location on their wedding day. This venue has a BEAUTIFUL full cottage for the bridal party to get ready in, and also a spot in the barn for the groom and his boys to get ready. And yes, the grooms room has a POOL TABLE!
6. HOTEL DOMESTIQUE
This Hotel has some of the best views of Blue Ridge Mountains. In our opinion, this venue is one of the most perfect destinations for an intimate wedding. Wanting to see these views for yourself before deciding on the venue? Check out the amazing Restaurant 17 in the Hotel which we highly recommend!
7. REVEL
Revel is a huge 8,500 sq. ft. event space capable of hosting events up to 500 guest in size. The grande ball room is perfect for ceremonies and receptions. The exposed brick walls and warehouse windows make for some amazing lighting in photo and video!
8. THE RUTHERFORD
The Rutherford is a one of our newest venues in Greenville and offers multiple location options including their event space with original hardwood floors or their outdoor courtyard. They also have offer a private dressing suite. This space is super cool and has so much potential!
9. HUGUENOT MILL & LOFT
The Huguenot Mill was once an operational textile mill and is one of Greenville’s oldest structures. And let us jsut say, it is absolutely beautiful! The open floor plan allow for you to make this space look exactly how you want!
10. MARY’S AT FALLS COTTAGE
Mary’s at Falls Cottage is right beside Fall’s Park downtown Greenville, SC. This is the perfect venue for a small, intimate ceremony and reception and is literally Falls Parks neighbor. Their restaurant has an amazing brunch which we highly recommend! Go try their blueberry muffins and give this venue a tour on your wedding planning search! We promise you won’t regret it!
11. THE SCHOOL HOUSE VENUE
Last but certainly not least on our list is the brand new The School House Venue! This venue will be officially opening Fall 2020 and we are SO EXCITED! Our first wedding here will be in December and and we can’t wait to showcase this new gorgeous space. The aesthetics will ensure all of your guests feel right at home.
